Chapter Service Award -
Submit an active chapter member from your chapter who has gone above and beyond to strengthen your chapter. This award will be given at the Oklahoma State Organization Conference in June 2022.
State Achievement Award -
Submit an active chapter member's name for this coveted state achievement award. The award will be given at the 2023 Oklahoma State Organization Convention.

GENERAL SELECTION CRITERIA:​

NOMINATION GUIDELINES FOR THE OKLAHOMA STATE ORGANIZATION ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
  • ​Nominee must be an active member of an Oklahoma State Organization Chapter.
  • Nominee must have a minimum of seven years membership in Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
  • Nominee must be endorsed by her chapter's executive board or by another chapter's executive board with the prior approval of the nominee's own chapter executive board.
  • It should be emphasized that these awards are given for Leadership, not merely the discharge of duties  The Oklahoma State Organization/Gamma State Achievement Award is primarily for service at the STATE level. The Oklahoma State Organization/Gamma State Chapter Service Award  is for service at the CHAPTER level.
  • A letter of recommendation must be attached explaining why you believe this nominee deserves the award.
  • Each chapter may nominate one member for each of the awards, each year.
  • A state president is ineligible to receive the award during her term in office or in the biennium immediately following.
  • Achievement Award Committee members are ineligible to receive either award during their time of service.
  • No person may receive either of the awards a second time.
