OKLAHOMA STATE CHAPTER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Sandy Pendergraft, Delta Chapter, has been a member of Delta Kappa Gamma for thirty-one years. She has remained a dedicated member, attending numerous International Conventions and Regional Conferences. In addition, she has participated in state conventions, conferences, workshops, executive board and training meetings.
Sandy has excelled in all leadership positions and goes above and beyond what is expected. She befriends all and provides mentoring and guidance. She sees what needs to be done and steps in to ensure it is accomplished perfectly. Sandra has served on and chaired many committees, including Scholarship, Personal Growth and Services, Expansion, Finance, US Forum, and the Ad Hoc Strategic Action Plan. She chaired two state conventions and planned two officer training sessions. Sandy has served as OSO State secretary, 1st vice-president, and president. She attended presidents’ training at SW Regional as well as the Oklahoma Tebow/Herrington Leadership Seminar. Sandy is an exceptional and inspirational leader who excels in organization and has clearly defined goals. She has been honored professionally receiving the Carolyn Berry Award for Grant Writing, Ponca City's Employee of the Month, HughesLeadership Award from Ponca City Chamber of Commerce, the Woman of the Year Award from AAUW, and the Oklahoma Excellence in Mathematics Teaching Secondary Level.
