​OSO on Broadway:  Everything is Coming Up Roses
​Like conditions of the 1930’s Depression, educators today are experiencing one common condition–burnout. With the stress that COVID-19 brought to educators, many are still struggling to cope with its lingering emotional effects which was the beginning of widespread “depression.” Delta Kappa Gamma promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. DKG ushered women teachers out of one depression, and it can potentially help teachers be more self and socially aware, manage classrooms better, develop relational and decision-making skills in this Post Covid-19 depression though genuine fellowship and shared excellence. A DKG chapter that follows the purposes of DKG drives student engagement and encourages women teachers, principals, superintendents, professors, and educators at all levels to overcome burnout, reduce stress, and enables them to thrive in their educational roles with positivity and promise. Women educators from home and online education, to public, charter, and private school options are encouraged to find out more about DKG at www.dkg.org
